Maximise storage density with minimal aisles. Store more pallets in less space with our drive-in racking systems, ideal for high-volume, low-SKU operations.
What Is Drive-In Racking?
Drive-in pallet racking is a high-density, last-in, first-out (LIFO) storage system where forklifts drive directly into the rack structure to load and retrieve pallets. By eliminating multiple aisles, drive-in racking dramatically increases storage capacity making it perfect for bulk storage of the same product type or SKU.
How It Works
• Pallets are stored on rails that are mounted within the rack structure. • Forklifts enter the racking system to place or retrieve pallets from the lanes. • The first pallet loaded is the last pallet retrieved (LIFO), making it ideal for stock that doesn't require strict rotation. • Each lane is typically dedicated to a single product type to ensure easy handling.
Maximise storage space
Up to 80% more capacity compared to wide aisle racking
Reduced number of aisles
Saving valuable warehouse floor space
Efficient handling
Multiple pallets per SKU, stored in dedicated lanes
Cost-effective
Excellent return on investment for high-volume operations
Drive-in racking is ideal if you:
• Store large volumes of the same SKU
• Operate in industries such as cold storage, food production, beverage warehousing, or manufacturing
• Need maximum capacity in limited space
• Manage goods that do not require strict FIFO rotation
